Grace Lynn Stevenson is an eighteen year old girl who recently moved with her wealthy, but busy parents to a new city. She’s popular, pretty and rich – what more could a girl want? But deep down, she’s sad, lonely and plagued by nightmares.

When she meets Sebastian Caldwood at her new private school, she’s inexplicably drawn to him and his strange tattoos. Sebastian always gets what he wants – he simply has to wish it; but he’s fighting his own inner demons, and struggling to remember a past that eludes him. When he remembers that he is much older than he looks, he realizes that he’s seen many people live and die, including Grace.

Once Sebastian realizes his true nature and finds what he has been searching for the past hundreds of years, he also realizes that it is now up to him to protect Grace from the dangers that have plagued them throughout eternity.

Gracelynn, an eighteen year old. Who tries her hardest to please every one around. Coming from a wealthy family she has the best of everything. To make her mother happy she at all times keeps the up a perfect appearance. Gracelynn dates the perfect boy Clarke. Who her parents see as a great catch considering his family connections.

Sebastian a mysterious boy who no one seems to notice. Living the Jenson’s his foster parents. Is thought less of by the most of the students and their parents for being a foster kid. Sebastian barely dresses properly to dress code. Layering his clothes so no one notices his tattoos.

Gracelynn and Sebastian strike up a friendship. Sebastian showing Gracelynn that there is more to living then just pleasing others.

Gracelynn pulling Sebastian out of his shell. Gracelynn notices after spending time with Sebastian, that there was something different about.Things that he wanted to happen, happened. Slowly everything around Gracelynn started crumbling the perfect facades of those around her started tumbling. The once perfect lives started showing there true face. Gracelynn having no one to really turn. The Jenson’s Sebastian’s took her in. Finally being free from the pressure of having to be perfect at all times.

The friendship and romance between Gracelynn and Sebastian is very sweet. I felt drawn in to the their lives.

The secondary characters were amazing. The perfect facades that were put on by the majority of the characters, i could thier feelings rolling off them. The suspense of the story kept me on the edge of my seat. I honestly cant wait to read the second book in the series.

  1. Sounds like there are layers to this plot as Gracelynn must learn about herself, the world, and the mysterious friend Sebastian.

Looks good! Thanks for the share!
