He’ll never settle for one woman…
Debonair bachelor Lord Andrew Forest lives for pleasure and offers no apologies. But he receives a dose of his own medicine when his family’s entrancing houseguest beds him, then disappears without so much as a by-your-leave. He’d like to teach the little vixen a thing or two about how to love and man…if he can find her.
And she won’t settle for heartbreak…
After the dashing man of her dreams is revealed as a lying scoundrel, heiress Lana Hilary is ready to seek a match with a respectable gentleman—if only they weren’t so dreadfully boring. Unable to rein in her bold nature for long, Lana flirts with trouble and finds herself entangled with exactly the type of man she’s vowed to avoid.

Lana a strong willed woman, who unlike the other women of the ton, isn’t worried about finding a husband. All the men that seem interested in her a after her dowry.
Drew plans to never marry. Instead enjoy  life to the fullest as the third son. Not really having many responsibilities, Drew enjoys a carefree life.
Lana and Drew are drawn to each other when they first meet. Both Lana and Drew don’t get why they cant get the other out of their  head. When they end up stay at the same house party they find themselves seeking out the other company.
The romance between the Lana and Drew is fast, once they both get over there misgiving realize their in love with each other. The interactions between all the characters is really believable for the time period. Lana has trust issues, so she finds really hard to believe in Drew, when he wants to make the relationship serious and permanent. The rode to them both  trusting each other is a little rocky.
Thought it would have been really interesting if the author actually told what Lana’s illness is there is several mentions of it in passing but not much more then that. it made really curious to what was wrong with her.
The plot was to this story was really great. The interactions between the characters were great. I thought it was funny that Drew’s family had no faith in and his choices specially when it comes to Lana. Drew’s family was thought that everything between Drew and Lana was Drew just just using her. The sex scenes were very hot and steamy. This book was really great.
