Avery Collins has a strict rule…no mixing business with pleasure.  As a publicist, it’s a great rule, but it’s one that comes back to haunt her when a one night stand from a few years ago becomes her newest client.

Ty McCall knew the minute he saw Avery at Jimmy’s bar that she was the one for him.  He was devastated when she stole away after their night together.  But when he finds out she’s he’s new publicist helping promote his soon to be released album, he makes it his mission to win Avery over.

Like the other couples in the Nashville Nights series, Avery and Ty do not have the easiest road to travel in order to find their HEA.  They both manage to make a mess of their relationship with their emotional baggage and hang ups, but it took an unexpected event for both of them to realize they needed each other and had to get it together.

I love this series.  Cheryl Douglas has a way of creating characters that that bleed their emotions onto the page.  Ty and Avery were no different.  Avery’s fear of relationships and Ty’s emotions when it came to Avery grabbed me from the very first page.  This is a story about second chances and figuring out a way to get past fears and experiences to make it work the second time around.
