Reviewer’s Thoughts:

Veiron has spent hundreds of years fighting for revenge. Starting over each time as an angel and falling into the service of the devil. All of it against his will. Now his only mission has been changed. From the moment he stepped into the hell’s cell to rescue her it was clear she was more than he bargained for. Every moment in hell couldn’t compare to the hell she is causing him and his heart. Fighting to protect her is easy but fighting with himself to keep her is the hard part. For him being with a mortal could never work but for all his trying he can’t escape the hold she has on his heart, on his very soul. Now he is being forced to look at everything he has ever known and felt in a different light and find a way to be with the one he loves.

Erin would have never thought these things could happen to her, or would. Now she is a prisoner of hell and fighting to stay alive. Once rescued, she enters an entirely different hell; every moment she spends with him has every inch of her wanting to explore her rescuer. Finding it impossible not to touch him, not to be close to him; finding out what he really is may scare her slightly but in turn it only increases the want to melt into one with him. Now the only problem is figuring out what the devil wants with her and finding a way to keep the man that has become part of her very soul.

These two characters are fuel to each other’s fire, the one that burns eternal inside them. The perfect man for the perfect woman; both sharing a fiery temper, a burning passion, and over whelming need to protect each other.

This book had my toes curling with an insatiable need to be Erin. The book is written in a way that gives you a beautiful story full of love and still manages to have your stomach full of knots and butterflies. I picked it up and immediately was drawn in, unable to put it down. Heaton did a beautiful job of immediately catching the reader’s attention. Delicious, sinful, fiery, and undeniably addicting; this book will have you burning with a passion that will equal the flames of hell (not that I know).
