Reviewer’s Thoughts:

Violet McGinn is a boring/normal accountant who is content with her boring/normal life. Unexpectedly, she has to come and take over her mother’s psychic business when her mother, Moonbeam, lands in the hospital.

At the shop she meets Drew Watson, the owner of the bar/male strip club next door. It was instant attraction from the very beginning, but both tried to fight the chemistry. Turns out, Drew plays a major role in helping Violet with her psychic predictions. He plays the right songs at the right time which ultimately helps Violet when she sits down with her mother’s clients. She’s able to make the right psychic predictions even though she doesn’t believe in such things.

I loved how music played a very important role in this story. I believe that the 80’s had the best music and it was really clever how the author tied a couple of butt/glam rock songs into the story. The romance took awhile to build, but once it got there.. it got there. There are many interesting characters in this story, from a boring/normal hot doctor to a guy who doesn’t believe in names. This was a very fun and light story to read, I really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it.
