Despite her brotherβs warnings about his friendβs playboy status and dangerous occupation, Jane canβt help but fall for the gorgeous fire captain. Reviewer’s Thoughts:
Have tissues at the ready, because this book will bring tears to your eyes! Β Written just like a holiday made for TV movie on the Hallmark Channel, this story is incredibly heart-warming and sweet. Β Both afraid of commitment, Jane and Christian find one another and must learn to trust themselves and their hearts.
Having lost her husband and home to a fire, and suffering burns on her body, Jane is left self-conscious and alone to raise her three children. Β When she happens upon Christian, a super gorgeous firefighter who thinks sheβs beautiful, her fear of letting someone get close to her again kicks in to overdrive. Β As Christian begins to warm up to Jane and they spend more and more time together however, her walls slowly begin to come down. Β But when things start to get too serious, Jane runs, and leaves Christian fighting to show her just how much he loves her and how far heβs willing to go to prove it.
This book was so good! Β I laughed, I cried, I felt frustratedβ¦ it was holiday perfection! Β The characters were true to life with real issues that a lot of people can relate to, and the story itself flowed beautifully. Β If youβre looking for a little holiday sweet treat, this book is guaranteed to be just what youβre looking for!
