Gabe, Jace, and Ash: three of the wealthiest, most powerful men in the country. They’re accustomed to getting anything they want. Anything at all. For Gabe, it’s making one particular fantasy come true with a woman who was forbidden fruit. Now she’s ripe for the picking…
When Gabe Hamilton saw Mia Crestwell walk into the ballroom for his hotel’s grand opening, he knew he was going to hell for what he had planned. After all, Mia is his best friend’s little sister. Except she’s not so little anymore. And Gabe has waited a long time to act on his desires.
Gabe has starred in Mia’s fantasies more than once, ever since she was a teenager with a huge crush on her brother’s best friend. So what if Gabe’s fourteen years older? Mia knows he’s way out of her league, but her attraction has only grown stronger with time. She’s an adult now, and there’s no reason not to act on her most secret desires.
As Gabe pulls her into his provocative world, she realizes there’s a lot she doesn’t know about him or how exacting his demands can be. Their relationship is intense and obsessive, but as they cross the line from secret sexual odyssey to something deeper, their affair runs the risk of being exposed—and vulnerable to a betrayal far more intimate than either expected.

Reviewer’s Thoughts:
A millionaire/billionaire Dominant enters into a contractual relationship with his best friend’s little sister. It’s a premise that is being used a lot and one that I generally enjoy, if the characters have a way of endearing themselves to you…even when you want to hate them.
With fresh eyes this morning, I’m not really sure how I feel about Gabe. He was an ass for the majority of the book, but there were moments when I thought he could be a hero I really liked. Unfortunately those moments were generally right after screw ups so big most women wouldn’t want anything to do with him. He’d been burned in the romance department before, by an ex-wife who dragged his name through the mud with her allegation of wrong-doings in the marriage. I could understand why he would do a complete 180 and demand any woman he entered into a relationship with know exactly what it was she was signing up for. However, the coldness of the relationship and of Gabe himself made it really, really, really hard to like him
Mia didn’t fare much better in my mind. She signed herself up for a relationship that was so one sided it made me question her sanity. I get that she had been in love with Gabe forever, but was this really the only way to finally get what you want? She went from being a “vanilla” kind of person to finding herself on the other end of the sexual spectrum. And given the way Mia wanted to stand up for herself and prove she could function without her brother, Jace, “carrying” her it was a little weird to see her so willing to give into all Gabe’s demands and made up job (cause really…she was there as his sex toy).
While I didn’t love Gabe and Mia, I was still invested in finding out what happened between the two of them. Did their relationship change? Did Jace find out? Those questions were enough to keep me through to the end. I didn’t love the ending but it did make me curious about what was going to happen with Jace and Ash in their books. I enjoyed both of them whenever they were on the page and have high hopes for their books.
