After her promotion from law firm Runner to Investigator, Kathleen Turner is learning the ropes of her new job from none other than assassin-for-hire Kade Dennon, a situation her boyfriend Blane Kirk is none too happy about. But the lessons with Kathleen take a back seat when Kade becomes a target. Previously untouchable, his enemies now know of the chink in his armor β his brotherβs girlfriend.
And Kadeβs not the only thing coming between Kathleen and Blane. From Blane’s inexplicable defense of a man guilty of a horrible crime, to a mysterious stranger from Kathleen’s past, to Kathleen’ risky investigation into human traffickers, the obstacles mount against a relationship that’s just begun to find trust again.
While Blane considers a job offer that would take him back to the front lines in the war on terror, Kathleen is determined to pursue her new career, with or without his approval. Unfortunately, her current case is far more dangerous than anyone knows. Someone close to Blane will go to extreme lengths to split them up, lengths that may prove worse than death for Kathleen.
Kathleen, Blane and Kade must atone for the sins of the past and the present. The fallout will force Kathleen to a turning point…in her career, and her life.

Reviewer’s Thoughts:
I’m not sure if I can write a review that will do this book justice. Β I’ve waited a week to write the review because I was so stunned by the events that happened in TURNING POINT. Β So stunned, that a week later I still want to run around the room waving my hands in the air and scream “Did that really just happen???” Β Sort of like this.
As the title of the book suggests, this was definitely a turning point for Kathleen. Β Kathleen wants to become a good investigator. Β She wants to be an asset to the law office and help those that need it. Β She also wants to fix her relationship with Blane (who she really does love) while working on building a platonic relationship with Kade, even though there is an attraction there. Β But Kathleen discovers she is a pawn in a chess game she had no idea was being played or that the person playing the game was someone very close to Blane. Β It seemed no facet of her life was left untouched and she came out the other end a very different Kathleen than the one we’ve gotten to know.
Kathleen isn’t the only one at a turning point. Β Both Blane and Kade find themselves in a position both of them feared might come, but hoped it wouldn’t. Β They both love Kathleen, in their own way, and when that chess game gets turned up, Kathleen isn’t the only one picking up the pieces. Β I was left wondering and hoping that the brothers can and will withstand whatever happens in the next two books. Β It’s obvious the depth of their feelings for each and just how much they need one another in their lives, with or without Kathleen.
As with each book in the series, there is a case that requires some sort of investigating on the parts of our beloved threesome and we get a pretty ugly one. Β Some unsavory characters, with links to high powered politicians willing to cover things up, are kidnapping women and selling them on the black market. Β The storyline is gritty, heartbreaking and stays with you well after finishing the book.
This was a tough read, especially the last fifty or so pages. Β It was emotionally gut-wrenching and at time so absolutely shocking that I found myself with my mouth hanging open. Β But I have faith in Tiffany Snow and know that (no matter how devastated I might be) the events in TURNING POINT were needed to eventually get Kathleen, Blane and Kade to the place they need to be to find whatever their version of happily ever after is. Β But until that time comes, I’ll be on pins and needles waiting for the next book.

OMG You have me so excited for 2/19/2013. I love this series so much and love love Kathleen. I hope she ends up with Blane and I hope he knows what an incredible woman he has. I don’t know how my heart will take waiting for books 4 and 5 though? Tiffany Snow is incredible. Have you read her Blank Slate series on Amazon – AWESOME!!!

This book will absolutely knock your socks off. By far the best in the series, especially with the gritty storyline. I still love Blane just the same, but he does need to be smacked around a bit.
I haven’t read the Blank Slate series yet. I’ve decided to wait until I have all the installments loaded on my Kindle and then I’ll read it. I have no patience waiting for Tiffany’s books. LOL!
