Madame Eve has done it again. She’s made the impossible match possible. A short, sexy read, Island Pleasures is exactly what you want when you are short on time but want a little something naughty. The 1Night Stand series can always be counted on to be hot and spicy and this tie was no different.
If I have any complaints with this offering it would have to be Carly’s character. Honestly, at times she really seems like such an airhead, she reminds me of Chrissy on Three’s Company. Doesn’t matter that this man knew her in the biblical sense, maybe if she calls herself by her twin sister’s name, he won’t know who she is. Really? And how many undercover reporters use their own credit cards when checking in as someone else? However, those issues aside, it was a pretty romantic story of a second chance at love. If you’re looking for a quick, hot read, I would definitely recommend this and other books in the 1Night Stand series.
