We’ve got a great post today from Merit (heroine from the awesome CHICAGOLAND VAMPIRE SERIES by Chloe Neill). She’s looking over the male cast members in her series and rating them as book boyfriends. Help me in welcoming Merit and Chloe to Cocktails and Books!
Hi, everyone, and welcome to the BITING BAD Blog Tour! From July 29, 2013 to August 9, 2013 (click here for full schedule), I’m visiting blogs to give Merit an opportunity to rate the men of the Chicagoland Vampires series–are they “Book Boyfriend” material? Let’s see what she has to say.
Jeff Christopher, Ombuddy
Hair/eye color Brown / N/A
Species: Shifter (tiger), North American Central Pack
First appearance in book (book/page): SGB, page 84
Thoughts: Whether playing therapist to Chicago’s River Nymphs, or breaking into high-level servers across the world, Jeff Christopher is a man with skills of all varieties.
Verdict: B+ / Book boyfriend material for geeks/nerds, those who love silly grins, and those who appreciate a man who can work the keys.
We’re giving away a Chloe Neill prize pack to celebrate Merit’s release day

- A “Chicagoland Vampires” tote bag

Merit has been a vampire for only a short while, but she’s already seen a lifetime’s worth of trouble. She and her Master, centuries-old Ethan Sullivan, have risked their lives time and again to save the city they love. But not all of Chicago is loving them back.
Anti-vampire riots are erupting all over town, striking vampires where it hurts the most. A splinter group armed with Molotov cocktails and deep-seated hate is intent on clearing the fanged from the Windy City come hell or high water.
Merit and her allies rush to figure out who’s behind the attacks, who will be targeted next, and whether there’s any way to stop the wanton destruction. The battle for Chicago is just beginning, and Merit is running out of time.

She was born and raised in the South, but now makes her home in the Midwest–just close enough to Cadogan House and St. Sophia’s to keep an eye on things. When not transcribing Merit’s and Lily’s adventures, she bakes, works, and scours the Internet for good recipes and great graphic design. Chloe also maintains her sanity by spending time with her boys–her favorite landscape photographer/husband and their dogs, Baxter and Scout. My favourite book boyfriend right now is Four from the Divergent series by Veronica Roth. Why? Because he his strong, dependable and honest. Great qualities in a person.
My favorite book boyfriend is Jericho Barrons from the Fever Series. He’s the king of all the alpha males. 🙂
My favorite book boyfriend is Drake from HUNGERS OF THE HEART by Jenna Black. I love him because he’s badass and a VAMPIRE! 🙂
My favorite book boyfriend? It would be Eric of the Sookie Stackhouse series. I finally got the last book and even though Eric wasnt the final choice….I love his confidence, his arrogance and his powerful sexy presence in every book I have read by Charlain Harris and Ethan in Chloe Neill’s books would be my second choice….He is incredible!
Teresa
Well, I just finished reading The Watcher Chronicles by S.J. West, so I’m going to have to go with Mason being my book boyfriend.

My favorite book boyfriend is Bones from Jeaniene Frost’s Cat and Bones (Night Huntress) series.
Favorite book boyfriend. Wow that’s tough. Bones is one of them. He’s smart, sexy and that accent, yum. Lachlain MacRieve is the other. I love a possessive hot wolf.
Oh, goodness. I have so many book boyfriends. A list, really, and I love them all.
These are definitely my top book boyfriends. They are strong, caring, sexy, a touch overbearring without over doing it. They aren’t controlling like others out there. Most importantly, their ladies go first.
Bones (Night Huntress)
Ethan Sullivan (Chicagoland Vampires)
Jericho Barrons (Fever)
Reyes Farrow (Charley Davidson)
My favorite book boyfriend….of course it’s Ethan Sullivan (Chicagoland Vampires). There are others but he’s the best! 🙂
My favorite book boyfriend..? umm it would defiantly have to be Ethan Sullivan from Chicagoland Vampires and Puck from Iron Fey. 🙂
Hmmm. My favorite book boyfriend would have to be one of the many vampires in Angela McCallister’s series. In Bad Mouth, there were the “Merry Men” and all of them were yummy, even the humans, but I prefer vampires or shifters…so the humans can just stand guard. Thanks for the opportunity here. I hope I win! michelle_willms@yahoo.com
Favorite boyfriend ahh there are so many but how about Wrath from Black dagger brotherhood
Vischous from black dagger brotherhood
Zsadist from the BDB series because he’s caring
My favorite book boyfriend is Acheron from the Dark Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon. He strong, passionate, and sexy.
Thanks for sharing Biting Bad and the giveaway. This is an awesome series. My book boyfriend changes to what my current favorite book is. I just read, KC’s Macrieve, so guess who is my favorite of the week. evamillien at gmail dot com.
PS: To clarify, I do it this way, because I have too many and it would be unfair to them to pick just one.
Ethan Sullivan……..wow that man makes me crazy ♥♥
Ethan Sullivan!!! Wow.
This week its Chris Knight, from the Shattered Heart series by Casssia Leo
I have way to many book boyfriends so I will just name my favorite from this series. Ethan Sullivan is my hands down favorite from the Chiacoland Vampire series!
I love Terrible from the Downside Ghosts series because I love his devotion to Chess!
