Country music superstar/actor Chase Tanner has yet to be denied anything–and he’s never wanted anything or anyone more than gorgeous screenplay writer Reno Linden. So when the film they are working on is finally finished, Chase decides to turn up the volume on seducing Reno.
Reno Linden lived a quiet, rural life until she was thrust into the Hollywood scene when her book was adapted to film. Chase Tanner is larger than life, sinfully sexy and hell-bent on getting her into bed. Skittish after a failed wedding engagement, Reno risks the plunge into Chase’s arms, and is surprised that her good girl self can keep up with bad boy Chase.
Though Chase returns to his cowboy roots often, and Reno cherishes the time spent with him on his ranch, the two find their careers pulling them in different directions. Will their attraction survive the glitz and stress of fame?

Reviewer’s Thoughts
Chase Tanner is a world famous country singer with a wild reputation. He meets Reno Linden when he stars in a movie made from a book Reno wrote. While making the movie Chase tries to seduce Reno, but while she feels the strong sexual pull between them, she is afraid he will trample her heart.
Chase is the male country vocalist of the year and was voted the sexist man of the year. He is charming with his southern drawl and aw-shucks attitude, but is also a stubborn alpha male who feels inferior because he is uneducated. Chase’s stubbornness had me yelling at him at times, but his kind heart won me over.
Reno is a farm-raised small town-girl who lives in South Dakota miles from civilization. While Reno has been working on the movie in Las Angeles, she has missed the peace and quiet of her normal life. Even though Reno is smart she is insecure about her looks. I loved how Reno is always willing to forgive Chase for making a mistake.
CHASE AND SEDUCTION is delightful with down to earth characters, each struggling with their emotional baggage. While I enjoyed the story and the characters, I didn’t always understand the characters motivations. I wish Randi Alexander, shared more background information about Chase and Reno. Can Chase and Reno put their vulnerabilities behind them and move forward into a relationship?
