Skye Jordan has written a captivating, erotic, contemporary romance. Once I started RECKLESS, I couldn’t put it down and instantly connected to the two main characters Jax and Lexi.

Jax Chamberlin is a bad boy, alpha male who he has been hurt and doesn’t trust women. He is tatted, handsome and knows how to make a woman feel good. Jax is a former actor who likes taking risks and now runs Renegades Stunt Company. I loved everything about Jax, especially his how honest he is about his feeling for Lexi. Jax is a tough guy, but is also vulnerable.

Lexi LaCroix is a twenty-eight year old fashion designer waiting for her big break. She has put her life on hold for years trying to succeed in a cutthroat business. Lexi’s last boyfriend was only interested in her as a trophy girlfriend. Since they broke up, dating hasn’t been a priority. Lexi lives a rigid and controlled life, until she meets risk taking Jax.

Lexi and Jax first see each other at the airport and are instantly attracted. Lexi decides to anonymously text Jax with a high tech app her roommate gives her. Jax has no idea who is texting him, but he is intrigued and they have a sexually charged texting marathon. I found the idea of Jax and Lexi getting to know each other through texting refreshing.

RECKLESS is the first book in the series, but not a cliffhanger, thank goodness, each book is a stand-alone. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It’s entertaining and fun with a lot of steamy sex. The air combusts whenever Jax and Lexi are together. Will Lexi take a risk on Jax?
