I have read some romantic BDSM books in my time, but this one certainly takes the cake! Kate works for a publishing company, and is constantly putting her client’s needs in front of her own – including doing research on subject matter that is foreign to her – BDSM. Intrigued, Kate decides to put a profile up on a website for doms/subs, and surprisingly meets her match over a conversation about modern art in Mason.
Oh, Mason. He was an Irish orphan who worked hard to overcome his situation and become a successful business man. He is confident, strong, and sexy as all get out! Even I had to fan myself over this gorgeous man! *sigh* In any case, Mason meets Kate, and wants to show her the pleasures of the BDSM world.
What made this story so intensely erotic was the relationship that blossomed between Mason and Kate. It began when Kate realized her attraction to Mason, but was reluctant to let him introduce her to the whims of BDSM. She fought against his dominance, and while Mason had the desire, he was incredibly patient to her reluctance. After all, it was her reluctance that created the sexual build-up between the two of them and made their ultimate climactic ending so beautiful. Their chemistry was electric, and that final build-up, that climactic scene, is unbelievably erotic.
This story is beautiful and passionate, not just sexual, and makes for an amazing romance.
