Reviewer’s Thoughts

I absolutely love Katie Reus and pick up anything she writes. When I first discovered her Moon Shifter series, I was instantly hooked into this paranormal world of mystical creatures. Avenger’s Heat is the fourth installment of the series and the storyline is just getting better.

The story starts off with a trip to New Orleans. Erin Flynn, the newest enforcer in North America, is on her first assignment. Tagging along, as always, is Noah Campbell, sexy wolf shifter/constant pain on Erin’s ass. Noah knows that Erin is fully capable of being an enforcer, but ever since he first saw her, he knew she was the only one for him and would always protect her. Erin is still having doubts. She’s broken and feels Noah can do a lot better than her.

Erin and Noah work well together and kick major ass in this book. Some serious stuff goes down and Erin overcomes the fears of her past in order to solve the case and be fully truthful with Noah. Their path to a happily ever after was not an easy one but it was beautiful, regardless.

The book is amazing, the mystery is brilliant and the shifters and vamps are sexy! I also loved reading about a secondary couple, Brianna and Angelo. The couple first met in Mating Instinct and I was very happy to watch their relationship grow in this book. I’m looking forward to the next installment of the Moon Shifter series!
