This book was hot from the first Chapter! I can guarantee that absolutely no one would mind flying if there flight was anything like Kayla Moriarity’s. Cooper Shillings, ex marine, can’t seem to stop himself from helping people and when he meets Kayla in the airport he immediately can’t seem to stay away from her. Kayla’s endless babbling that usually includes statistical data from everything from relationship survival ratings to the chance of dying in flight are absolutely refreshing to Cooper. He can’t remember the last time he was this intrigued with another person let alone a woman. Kayla’s fear of flying soon leads to Cooper paying to upgrade to first class to sit beside her. Needless to say, what happens next definitely changes the way you look at taking flights. It was so hot my cheeks were burning while I read it.
What starts out as a mind blowing one night stand quickly changes to Cooper escorting Kayla to her sister’s wedding as a “pretend” boyfriend. Kayla and Cooper agree to keep the relationship just physical and fun but before long they are both in over their heads. These two needed each other to realize that they are both running from problems instead of facing them. And maybe just maybe they are misjudging the people who love them the most. Sometimes honesty is the best policy and you have to have faith that your loved ones want what is best for you even when it doesn’t seem that way.
Temporarily Yours is another fantastic example of why I love Diane Alberts. She writes story lines and characters that you not only identify with but fall in love with. She knows how to write sexy, steamy scenes with laugh out loud moments mixed in. This is another winner! Read it soon!
