Reviewer’s Thoughts
I love how this series depicts the man as shy and insecure as the woman. Itβs always a surprise to the woman that the man she is crushing on feels the same way as she does. Take for instance, Sam. Sam has a major crush on Chopper and she completely stammers over her words every time sheβs in his presence and quickly darts away. Chopper thinks sheβs cute and has wanted to ask her out for months and Sam has been oblivious to his intentions.
Sam makes a date with Chopper to have coffee with him. Unfortunately, she temporarily forgot she signed up for Fated Mates to help solve her loneliness. Sam has a movie date with a guy named Chad the night before her coffee date with Chopper. Unsure of what to do, she makes the decision to go on both dates.
As luck would have it, Sam gets a huge shock when she shows up for her date that night. Chopper is Chad, Chad is Chopper and Sam is in deep trouble. The ice is quickly broken and Sam ends up in Chopperβs auto shop with Chopper necking like teenagers and making a memorable night together.
I love the vulnerability of Ms. Barrymireβs characters. It makes them more believable and easy to relate to. Iβve really enjoyed reading this series and Iβm looking forward to checking out more books from the author.
Thank you so much for the awesome review!
