Reviewer’s Thoughts

This was a good one. Short, sweet, and to the point, “Fifteen Years Later” tells the story of Peter, a wealthy businessman who’s come to the family getaway home on a private island, and Dex, the owner of a local general store. The two have a bit of a history. Fifteen years ago (thus the title), when they were young, they had an encounter on the beach that neither has forgotten. Peter and Dex were obviously meant to be together. They’ve pined for each other for all these years, and they fall back into a comfortable, but exciting life.

What I really enjoyed about this book was that, not only was there some great romance and hot sex, there was some mystery, and some violent intrigue. Even though it was quite short, the whole story fit together very well. The characters were pretty well fleshed out, and even the background characters were good…just involved enough to give some background, but not so much that they were overpowering.

If M/M romance is your thing, this is a great book to check out. As I said, it’s not very long. You can read it in one sitting and feel satisfied. Taylor Brooks is a favorite of mine when it comes to manlove. She never fails to deliver for me, and I will recommend her books to anyone who asks.
