On a whim, Boston doctor Bryan Newcastle books a Caribbean cruise for gay men, hoping for two weeks of sexual exploration with someone whoβll bring out the daring soul inside him.
With a simple slide of a keycard across a table, newspaperman Phil Sanderson plunges Bryan into world of sexual freedom where longing for more comes as naturally as breathing. As Phil takes Bryan to new heights, the cruise ends with so much unexplored.
During a visit with Phil in Des Moines, Bryan receives a call that changes everything. Together, they travel back to Boston, but Philβs protective nature gets in the way of Bryanβs need to handle tragedy in his own way. While Bryan struggles to come to terms with all he thought real about his past, Phil must trust that Bryan is strong enough, or he might lose the best thing that’s ever happened to him.

Reviewer’s Thoughts
Bryan Newcastle is a doctor that works in Boston. After ending his long relationship with his partner Del, he takes a two-week cruise for gay men. Bryan works hard at discovering what he likes and does not like sexually before the cruise and on it. On the cruise, Bryan meets Phil.
Phil Sanderson is a newspaperman. He is attracted to Bryan at first sight. Phil takes Bryan on a journey while they explore together sexually. I loved that Phil was honest and straight forward with Bryan on what he should do in different situations and what not to take for granted.
The chemistry between Bryan and Phil is blistering. I loved the realistic way the author slowly made the characters realize how much they cared for each other. I also enjoyed that this book did not take place in a few days but spanned months. The sex scenes were scorching. Phil and Bryan connected well.
I found this book well written. The main and secondary characters were realistic and interesting. I loved how realistic this book was. Overall, this was a great book. I have not read this author before but I will be keeping an eye out for more in the future.
