Reviewer’s Thoughts

I have read other books in the Calendar Men series and I really enjoyed them. I like the diversity of the series and the fact that every book is written by a different author. I was excited about the promise of this sexy Aussie but when his ex-girlfriend Janine comes on the scene, I was instantly turned off.

I didn’t feel a lot of chemistry between the couple. Granted, there was a lot of sexual tension having been broken up for a year then forced to work together, but without that chemistry, it was still hard for me to believe in the validity of the relationship.

Janine’s character is also loud, boisterous, demanding and spoiled. I immediately disliked her and thought Chris could do so much better. The book ends with a happily ever after, but I just wasn’t able to enjoy the book as much as I’d have liked to.
