Review: Shameful Desires 3: Unbound by P.J. Proud

Reviewer’s Thoughts

Jeremy Piper is an RN, and screenwriter. Jeremy is still struggling with living with his Master full-time. Also, Jeremy struggles with the fact that his Master has not publicly acknowledged him. To the world, his Master is a straight man dating a woman. Jeremy’s strong will and stubbornness are both Jeremy’s biggest issues and greatest positive. Jeremy is not a typical submissive. Jeremy continues to push to be heard and acknowledged by Andre.

Andre Jackson is a very successful actor who values being straight in the public eye. He does not want to come out fearing the end of his career. Andre still struggles to actually listen to Jeremy and seems to expect Jeremy to do what he tells him regardless of what Jeremy wants. Andre is not as comfortable in his own skin as Jeremy and is not wiling to let even his sub know how much he is struggling at times.

The chemistry between Andre and Jeremy is intense. If it was not apparent how much Andre and Jeremy loved each other I would have liked for them to find other people. Andre struggles to actually listen to what Jeremy tells him and not only to see him as a submissive that should do what he is told. The sex scenes were sizzling but for some, it can go to extremes at times.

Unbound is the third book in the series Shameful Desires by PJ Proud. This book is part of a series and is best read in order to fully understand the characters. I found this book well written. The characters were not just engaging and interesting but realistic. I read this book in one sitting. This author has a knack for drawing the reader into the story. I had a very hard time putting this book down. Overall, this was a wonderful book.
