When submissive Brynn Winston takes a job at Busler’s department store, trouble follows her, but she’s not the only target in Racy. Brynn knew Racy detective Sean Brennan and BDSM club owner Maddox McCree during their unsavory days in Chicago, and neither man is happy to see her living and working in Racy.
But all three have more trouble than they realize when a man they knew in Chicago who was once accused of rape and murder is spotted in Racy. As Brynn works to convince Sean and Maddox that she’s as changed as they are, and that this man is a real threat to them, Doms Ryder Dayton and Hugh Sinclair fall hard and fast for her.
As Ryder and Hugh fight to exonerate Brynn from the rumors about her past associations, they end up as pawns in a killer’s deadly game of cat and mouse, and soon realize Brynn’s past isn’t the real danger. It’s her present.

Reviewer’s Thoughts
“Captivating Her Racy Heroes” is my new favorite Tara Rose novel. Of course, I say that about every new book that Tara publishes 🙂 I sort of can’t help myself. They do just keep getting better and better.
In this installment of the Racy, Indiana series, we have Brynn. New to town, she’s here to be the new HR manager for Busler’s Department Store. She comes with a past, though, and that past is connected to Sean Brennan and Maddox McCree, and believe me, they’re NOT happy to see her at first.
Enter Ryder and Hugh. A chance meeting at Nan’s Diner brings about INSTANT chemistry between the three of them. The thing about it is, even though is, literally, instant, it felt RIGHT. I firmly believe in love at first sight, so this didn’t feel odd or rushed to me. Brynn seemed comfortable enough with these two handsome and caring men that she was able to tell them about her past, how she knows Sean and Maddox, and that she’s a sub (much to their delight).
I’m not going to tell you anything further. This book is too good to hand out spoilers. You should experience it yourself. I mentioned the chemistry that the three main characters have, and that leads to some really, really, REALLY hot sex! It’s just so perfect, so well written. The pleasure that they give each other is palpable.
Remember that this is a BDSM story, so there are floggers, paddles, and all sorts of fun toys. As with the last two “Racy” books, it seems to me that the play was not very much in the way of punishment. Sure, they joke that it is, but I don’t see anything in the way of trying to draw attention to any sort of behavior (except when she wiggled her behind at them, LOL). It was all about the three of them seeking ecstasy together. Was that too flowery? I just really felt gushy over this book and this romance.
Of course, with any Tara Rose novel, there is mystery and intrigue. We’re learning about what went on in Chicago with Brynn, Sean, and Maddox, and it’s an excellent plot. It will get you caught up in the story quickly and make you want to know more and more, and then BAM! There it is! Extremely well done.
As mentioned, this is part of the Racy Indiana series. In fact, it’s the 13th (lucky 13). I wouldn’t try to read it as a stand alone because characters from past stories do crossover. There is a little bit of exposition, but not enough that you wouldn’t be lost if you tried to use “Captivating Her Racy Heroes” as a starting point. This is a series worth reading, though, so do yourself a favor and read them. I promise you won’t be sorry.
