The visit to Elk Ridge is supposed to be just another assignment for Tom Barrington. Then he encounters Bryce Reynolds, a generous, warmhearted cowboy who has the easiest smile he’s ever seen. It doesn’t take long for Tom to break all his rules and end up in Bryce’s bed.
Bryce Reynolds believes there’s no such thing as a hot politician, right up until he meets Tom Barrington. Tall, dark, and principled, Tom overturns all of Bryce’s prejudices, and Bryce starts to forget that he doesn’t do serious and he doesn’t do commitment.
As Bryce and Tom struggle to make sense of what’s happening between them, they’re drawn into a political battle—one which could affect the future of every shifter. And when long-buried secrets start coming to light, things turn deadly. Nothing will ever be the same again for the Elk Ridge pack.

Reviewer’s Thoughts
“Shifting Sands” was my favorite in the Strength of the Pack series. They’re all good, but they got better as they progressed, and this is proof of just that.
Bryce is a very caring sort of wolf. He looks after (and takes very good care of) all the guys in the pack. He’s also not really a fan of commitment. He’s quite happy jumping from bed to bed. Or is he?
Tom is assigned to come to Elk Ridge to check out the pack and their ranch. Some politicians (and A LOT of security) are coming to talk about how to handle the public reveal of the very rare Argent wolf.
Bryce approaches Tom about some hot no strings attached sex while he’s there. At first, Tom says no, but he can’t resist Bryce. He feels a pull to him, and to his surprise, Bryce feels the same about Tom.
Ok. I’ve given away too much. “Shifting Sands” has a lot of intrigue and action. There’s also some very sweet romance to go along with the VERY hot sex. All of the characters in the series are great, but Bryce is my favorite. I have a picture of him in my mind, and that picture makes me smile a mile wide 🙂
This is the fourth and final book in the Strength of the Pack series. Don’t try to read it as a stand alone, as you’ll be very confused. There’s a lot going on in these stories, and you won’t want to miss a single tooth, fang, shifting, sexy moment. So do yourself a favor and pick these ones up. Very enjoyable!
