ER nurse and submissive Loreen Newhouse has admired surgeons and Doms Adam Eastman and Travis Randall from afar for years, but she hasn’t dated since her fiancé was killed four years earlier.
Adam lost his fiancée to a car bomb three years earlier when he and Travis served together in Doctors Without Borders. Travis is afraid to give away his heart after watching the pain that Adam went through.
When a chance encounter leads to Adam and Travis pursuing a Dom/sub relationship with Loreen, all three believe they are on the road to healing. Until an ER victim who too closely resembles Adam’s fiancé is brought in on the anniversary of her death, and Adam bolts without telling Travis or Loreen where he’s gone.
Can Loreen overcome her own past grief and help Adam and Travis heal from their loss, or has she lost them both forever?

Reviewer’s Thoughts
I absolutely LOVED “Healing Her Racy Doctors”! I don’t keep my love of Tara Rose a secret. I never have, but with every new book, I love her just a bit more. The “Racy Nights” series is just awesome, and they keep getting better. They’re never stagnant, and there is always something new. Some would think that
the 15th story in a series would be stale, but it just isn’t. With each installment, we get to visit a new place in Racy, and with “Healing Her Racy Doctors”
we see Memorial Hospital.
Lorene is an ER nurse. Travis is an orthopedic surgeon, and Adam is a trauma surgeon. They’ve all experienced horrible things. Loreen’s fiancee was killed, and Travis’ as well. Adam was also devastated by Travis’ loss, and the pain runs deep. They all deal with everything in different ways. Loreen works way too
hard. Adam comes across as gruff (and sometimes even mean) to everyone around him, and Travis is almost too upbeat. He flirts and laughs a lot. Some of the women who work at the hospital think he’s a player because of that.
One day, the three find themselves working together with a patient, and sparks fly. Loreen has been fantasizing about Adam and Travis for awhile now, and the guys have been thinking about her too. It turns out that the three of them will all be going on vacation the next day and will be off for a whole week. On the first day of that vacation, they meet up (accidentally) at a restaurant and have dinner together. There is an instant, easy chemistry between them. They have a lot in common, so conversation flows smoothly, and the mutual attraction is not far behind, and boy oh boy! There is a LOT of attraction!!
What I liked about Loreen, Adam, and Travis is they’re very real. It’s obvious that Tara has experience in the medical field. I come from a family of nurses, and I’ve been around them (as well as doctors and paramedics) all my life, and I know a thing or two. She’s nailed it, and I am so pleased.
Of course, it wouldn’t be Racy without a wonderful menage, and these three are perfect together. Together, Adam and Travis introduce Loreen to pleasure that she’s only dreamed about. The sex scenes are amazing. They’re hot (I mean really, REALLY hot), but they’re quite tender. Now remember, this is a BDSM novel, so there are spanking benches, floggers, paddles, and all sorts of other lovely toys, and there’s a very sexy role playing scene that made me squeal. However, it’s all so romantic to me, that I didn’t even give it a thought.
As with all of Tara’s books, there is an underlying back story. Something (no spoilers) happens to bring some real angst into our triad’s relationship. It helps to move the plot along without being overwhelming. I really don’t like books where there is chapter after chapter of gut wrenching agony. Here, there is just enough to make the main characters realize that they should be together always.
As I mentioned, “Healing Her Racy Doctors” is the 15th in a series. I suppose you could read it as a stand alone because Tara provides enough exposition for a newbie to get by, but I do recommend that you start at the very beginning with “Winning Her Racy Heart” and continue from there. That way, you really get to know the residents of Racy, Indiana because they all make crossover appearances in different stories.
I HIGHLY recommend this book. It’s wonderful. You’ll root for Loreen, Adam, and Travis, just like I did, and you’ll fall in love with all of them…just like I did 🙂 Thank you Tara Rose for another awesome read!
