Chessy and Tate have been married for several years. In the beginning, their relationship was everything she wanted. Passionate. All consuming. Reviewer’s Thoughts
Chessy has been married to her husband Tate for several years. In the beginning, her life was perfect. She had the passion, and time of her husband and Dom, but Tateβs wish for more financially security for them has pushed her needs down on his list of priorities and he does not even notice. I had to admire Chessy for explaining to Tate what has made her so unhappy.
Tate is a hot and sexy Dom who only has eyes for his wife. He is head over heels in love with her. I felt a mixture of feelings about him; sorry for him on one hand and truly angry with him on the other. While I donβt want to go into too many details, I wish that he did not need something so bad to make him realize what Chessy was telling him and what he should have seen before she brought it up.
Taking It AllΒ is the third book in the Surrender Trilogy by Maya Banks. This book is best read as part of the series and not as a standalone novel. I found this book well written. The main characters and secondary characters were interesting and realistic. I had a really hard time putting this book down. The prior two books in the series all led up to this book and I wanted to know how it ended. Overall, this was a fabulous book. I loved how this book keeps you on your toes all the way through.
