Jesse Sullivan isn’t afraid of any thing, any man, or any bull. But when he decides to take a chance and carve out a life outside his rodeo career, he feels like he’s walking on shaky ground. In typical Jesse style, he jumps at a chance to purchase Main Street Gallery, a Boise tradition in the art world.

Taylor DeMarco has two goals for the next year. Getting the gallery on sound financial ground to prove to her parents that she can keep her grandfather’s legacy alive is the first one. Moving out of the house and into her own condo by the Boise River is the second. When she finds her folks are selling the gallery to Jesse, she vows to stop the sale, no holds barred.

When sparks fly between Jesse and Taylor, family gets in the way of reason, and they have to decide what is more important: their desires or keeping Main Street Gallery open and successful.

Reviewer’s Thoughts

I just finished the Bull Rider’s Keeper by Lynn Cahoon and I must say that I enjoyed it a lot.  It was a sweet read and the author did a great job of keeping it real.  The story line and plot were predictable but at the same time I got to know the characters and really found myself immersed in their lives.

Jesse is a famous bull rider who has a passion for art, with that passion he meets Taylor and from that moment on all other thoughts but her are lost to him.  He is not what you expect from a rodeo cowboy at all, he loves the thrill of the ride but is sensitive and loves art.  Taylor is the manager of her family’s art gallery, and one that Jesse has his sights on buying.  She is strong and stubborn and definitely has a mind of her own.  She is crushed that her parents are selling the gallery.   This causes quite a few interesting situations between them.  There is an instant chemistry between them, but there is always something standing in their way, either that or they are both running away from each other and their feelings.  They are goo together and their passion shows in and out of the bedroom.

I loved all of the secondary characters in this book as well.  Barb Jesse’s manager and Angie his mother are so funny, always saying exactly what is on their minds, no filters at all.   I really enjoyed the book, and I would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a shorter romance to read one afternoon lazing around the house.  It was a sweet and entertaining read with just the right amount of passion.
