The Billionaire Boys Club is a secret society of six men who have vowed success—at any cost. Not all of them are old money, but all of them are incredibly wealthy. They’re just not always as successful when it comes to love…
Real-estate tycoon Hunter Buchanan has a dark past that’s left him scarred and living as a recluse on his family’s palatial estate. Hunter is ready to give up on love—until he spots an enigmatic red-haired beauty and comes up with an elaborate scheme to meet her.
Gretchen Petty is in need of a paycheck—and a change. So when a job opportunity in an upstate New York mansion pops up she accepts. And while she can overlook the oddities of her new job, she can’t ignore her new boss’s delectable body—or his barely leashed temper.
Hunter’s afraid his plan might be unraveling before it’s truly begun, but Gretchen is about to show him that life can be full of surprises…

Reviewer’s Thoughts
Hunter Buchanan is like a real life beast living in a castle, he even goes so far as to make up a job and insist that Gretchen live in the huge estate with him, just because he’s infatuated with her after just one glance.
Gretchen, well her boss at her coffee shop is in love with her, she doesn’t feel the same, and her ghost writing is not going well. She is ready for a change even if it’s a bit of an eccentric offer and one that she shouldn’t take, but she finds herself excited to live in the huge house and very intrigued with the owner of the house.
They fall into each other’s arms but don’t stop and talk to each other about what they want and where they’re going. Hunter has a lot of insecurities because of his scars and the way he’s been treated in the past, and he lets that color his feelings for Gretchen. Things come to head and I felt that they both handled it poorly. I wanted to smack them both for being so stubborn and dense.
They’re fabulous characters and I really enjoyed their story. I also loved the secondary characters and how well Hunter grovels in the end. I highly recommend this story, and I’m glad I finally read this book.
