Reviewer’s Thoughts
For a short read this book had a lot of depth and feeling in it and the author did a fantastic job of letting you get to know the main characters and coonect with them and the other characters in the story. The plot was interesting and kept you turning the pages to see what would happen next. Although the outcome was very predictable it was a sweet and romantic read and it showed just how families are everything that is important in our lives, and what we may miss out on if we turn our backs on them.
Brody left his family run ranch to become a professional bull rider leaving everything behind, including Stephanie. When he returns 10 years later he finds himself once again falling in love, or has he ever fallen out of love with her. Their story is one of learning to trust and love again, letting go of past hates and getting to know each other once again. Both Stephanie and Brody have changed but the chemistry and the love they had for each other is still burning. Learning to trust and love again is hard for Stephanie and she sure doesn’t make it easy for Brody, add in what his family is living through and he has his work cut out for him.
I am looking forward to the next book in the series, the author did a great job with pulling you into their world and you just know what is coming next will not be easy. I would recommend this book, but be ready to read the next one as there are unanswered questions at the end of the book. I can hardly wait to read the next book.
