Reviewer’s Thoughts
Ahhhh! I LOVED this book! It is so adorable. It’s charming. It’s exactly what you want in a contemporary romance. Heaven and Preston are a WONDERFUL couple. I LOVED watching them go from strangers to romance. It was so beautiful – especially given Heaven’s circumstances. And I can’t forget the puppy. The puppy is where fate brought them together – and where their love blossomed. It was just…wow.
The book is very well written, as well. The author does a tremendous job of developing the characters through their past and through their experiences throughout the book. She also has a knack for pulling at your heartstrings. Because Heaven alone can do that, but when you add in Preston…and the puppy…oh my goodness…melt. I also enjoyed all of the secondary characters, and the town of Sweetland.
This story is a prime example of how quickly fate can change your entire life when you least expect it, but definitely need it the most.
