Though Dimitri Silvetti is living a straight life in the outside world, his inner thoughts are filled with secret longing for other men. Many times, he caught himself looking past the beautiful female cleavage, or the perfect feminine butt, and focusing on a handsome manβs muscled ass or six-pack abs. Even so, he never once returned a smile, a wink, or suggested a liaison, feeling nervous as a virgin about having sex with a man.
Then he meets a dark, handsome Latino from Argentina with an ego as big as Texas. His name is Franco Moretti, and he refuses to let Dimitri back away. Francoβs seductive ways donβt just ease open the closet doorβthey kick it down and stomp it into splinters. Despite his fears, Dimitri has a feeling it wonβt be long before he has his first experience with the sweet burn of another manβs love.

Franco Moretti is a man born in Argentina with a big ego.Β He was married until his wife died in a tragic accident.Β After her death, Franco is forced to face his sexuality.Β While the author explains Francoβs being gay away it comes across as flimsy and not realistic. Β Also it was hard to get a good feel for Franco beyond the loss of his wife and his sexuality.
Dimitri Silvetti is a true mystery.Β We donβt really get to know him beyond he has not experienced and he is a gay man.Β Rolly the third man in this story.Β He is the man that the reader gets to know best.Β He comes across as sweet but misguided.Β Rolly wants to find love and looks everywhere for and seems unable to find it.
The connection between Franco and Dimitri is intense but seems forced.Β Franco seems to talk Dimitri into Dimitriβs first encounter and keeps talking him into a relationship.Β In addition, Rollyβs reaction to the relationship Franco has with Dimitri is unrealistic.Β What would have been better would Rolly being upset because he had feelings for Franco.
I enjoyed the premise of the plot.Β The main characters and the secondary characters were interesting.Β The book has several unanticipated twists and turns that keeps the reader entertained all the way through. I wish this book was more flushed out than it was. Β Overall, I enjoyed reading this book.
