What’s better than getting lucky? Getting it on the go!
Can single guys GET IT ON in public without getting caught? The men in these erotic stories give it their best shot. They’re out on the town, or on their way to work, or performing a low-paid gig with an up-and-coming indie band.
Maybe they stumble into that special stall in the bathroom of a gay bar. Maybe a student and a professor fall for each other when a blizzard strands them at the side of the highway Christmas night. Maybe three strangers find common ground on a broken-down bus.
Whatever the situation, you know things are going to heat up fast when these guys get it on the go!

Reviewer’s Thoughts
I had high hopes for “Getting It On the Go”. Sadly, those hopes were dashed. This book contains four short manlove stories.
The first, “Stranded with the Professor” had potential…college student and college professor stranded on the side of the road in an SUV during a blizzard. Cuddling naked for body heat, one thing leads to another, and the result is an ok sex scene. Not sizzling. Not steamy. Not exciting…just ok. I felt that with a little polishing and maybe making the story longer could have helped.
The second story, “30 Pounder” just grossed me out. A guitar player in a band announces to his bandmates (in the middle of a show) that he’s got to take a “30 Pounder”. This is, apparently, another way to say that he had to take a giant crap. He quickly runs across the street to use the restroom in a gay bar. He drops those 30 pounds, notices a glory hole in the stall and is tempted by the penis that comes through it. He decides go ahead and suck it…despite the (and this is word for word) “stank of the washroom” and “the cum-laden floor”. After that’s completed, the story ends with him thinking that he would come back after the next set his band plays and have someone do it to HIM. The end. Ick.
By the time I got to story number three, I wanted to put this down and get it out of my brain, but I had committed, so I continued on. In “Breakdown”, we find Cory, who is young and skinny, but works at a gym. We’re told that the other guys make fun of him. Anyway, he’s riding the bus to work, and the bus…you guessed it…broke down. He’s there with the driver and a large man sitting in the back of the bus. A threesome begins. Normally, I’d be thrilled with that, but honestly, by this time, I couldn’t even remember the characters’ names, and I was getting confused as to who was doing what. In the end, it turns out that the big man at the back of the bus owns a boxing gym where other gay men go to work out, and Cory will have a place to belong. Oh well…at least nobody had to take a 30 Pounder on the broken down bus.
There is a fourth bonus story that also had some potential. Four drunk groomsmen around a campfire at a destination wedding. Could have REALLY taken off from there, if you know what I mean. Instead, and maybe this short is a part of a longer series or something, but one of the men has something weighing on his mind that he doesn’t want to talk about. Suddenly, they’re all skinny dipping, and two of the guys have a short, but I have to admit, hot encounter in the water. Then, the guy with the problem tells everyone what it is, and he and the other man who WASN’T involved with the fun in the lake leave. Our two main guys have another, slighty hot, experience together and fall asleep on the beach. End of story. I would have really liked to have had more of this one, but that was the end of the book.
I hate to give a bad review. I just couldn’t get behind this one (there’s a joke there, I suppose). I love, love, love good, well written manlove stories. This anthology just didn’t give me that.
