An epic tale of revenge and love in a new romantic trilogy from the New York Times best-selling author of The Beauty Series.
Bleu MacAllister is in hiding less than three months when Sinclair Breckenridge discovers her whereabouts. Her former lover, the future leader of a criminal organization known as The Fellowship, resists the tug of his heart heartstrings in her direction. Instead, he opts to watch over his beloved from afar. And she has no idea. But Sin’s sacrifice is short-lived. His bonny lass is a hunted traitor. He fears Abram’s assassins are closing in, leaving him with one solution for saving Bleu–make her his wife. Marriage seems an easy fix for their dilemma but wedded bliss is brief when the couple finds trouble lying in wait beyond the realm of the brotherhood. Will the original revenge seeker find herself the object of collateral damage?

Reviewer’s Thoughts
THE NEXT SIN was a book I was eagerly anticipating and let me tell you, the second book in this series did not disappoint.
The story picks up three months after Bleu had fled Scotland. Β She misses Sin, but she knows being separated from him is the best thing for both of them. Β But when he suddenly appears with an offer very hard to refuse. Β And when Bleu finds herself back in Scotland, she hopes this next chapter of her life is happier than the last. Β Unfortunately, life within the Fellowship has a way of making sure that doesn’t happen…for either Sin or Bleu.
You have to appreciate a man who is willing to go against everything he has been taught and expected to follow for the love of a woman. Β I loved Sin before, but once he got Bleu back in his arms he went to great lengths to prove to her, his family and those he is intended to one day lead that she is the woman that will stand by his side and lead with him. Β Hard not to love him more.
Bleu softened quite a bit in this book. Β Gone is the woman so set on revenge that she closes herself off to everyone. Β She embraces Sin and his parents, in addition to the few friends she’s made within the Fellowship, grounding herself for the first time. Β It makes her a more likable Bleu. Β One you could connect with and one you really want to finally get the redemption she’s been looking for with her mother’s killer.
The storyline is a bit of a roller coaster ride, because you know the evil Uncle Abrams is just waiting in the wings to do something. Β He gets a few digs in here and there, but you know there is more and the anticipation had me a bit jumpy right up until the last page.
I can’t wait for the final book to come out in March. Β I need Bleu and Sin to get their HEA and right now all that seems up in the air. Β But don’t let that stop you from picking this series up. Β It’s wonderfully crafted and the characters stick with you.
Sinclairβs POV
Iβm in the background of Bleuβs life, as I have been for weeks. I have eyes on her at all times, even when theyβre not my own. I safeguard her from harm. Itβs all Iβve done since tracking my lass down in a small town in Mississippi, right outside of Memphis. I act as her protector from afar and she has no idea. She believes sheβs hidden from The Fellowshipβand meβbut she couldnβt be more wrong. Iβm always here, keeping a watchful eye on her and the MacAllister family.
I often need to be reminded that this is Bleuβs world. Every person she has contact with isnβt a threat but thereβs an enormous problem with that. I have no idea whoβs friend or foe.
I was concerned when Bleu disappeared at the bar with a man earlier tonight. I was on the verge of barging into the back until my lass came out on stage to perform with the band. I donβt think Iβve ever been so surprised in all my life. I knew she played but I never pegged her for a public performer. That doesnβt seem like my Bonny at all.
But I guess I donβt really know the real Bleu MacAllister. I only know the woman she pretended to be.
Georgia resides in rural Mississippi with her wonderful husband, Jeff, and their two beautiful daughters. She spent fourteen years as a labor and delivery nurse before she decided to pursue her dream of becoming an author and hasnβt looked back yet.
When sheβs not writing, sheβs thinking about writing. When sheβs being domestic, sheβs listening to her iPod and visualizing scenes for her current work in progress. Every story coming from her always has a song to inspire it.
