No dating.
No sex outside of the game.
No disclosing the terms of the contract.Rules were made to be broken, right?
Eight weeks ago I signed a contract. One that seemed like a good idea at the time. A handsome bachelor, luxury accommodations, and a chance to win a prize my family desperately needed. There were some rules though. Lots of them actually. Follow the script, no dating, sex, or disclosing the terms of the deal. After my self-imposed moratorium on men the last year, it wouldnβt be hard to live up to my end of the bargainβ¦so I thought. Until I realized the deal Iβd made was with the devilβ¦and I was in love with his dirty-talking brother.

Reviewer’s Thoughts
It doesn’t matter what Vi Keeland writes, whether it’s MMA fighters, teenagers surviving great loss or a Hollywood mogul, she brings a storyline and characters that are unforgettable.
In THROB, reality show contestant Kate is determined to win some of the prize money to help her mother and brother. Β She knew the rules going into the show and figured she’d have no problem following them because she needed that money. Β She just didn’t count on studio owner, Cooper Montgomery, blowing into her world and determined to make her his.
I enjoyed Kate and Connor. Β They had an instant chemistry that made it hard not to like them. Β Kate was determined to provide for her family, even at the cost of her own happiness. Β And while that didn’t always make Connor happy, you could tell he was going to bide his time and then make sure everyone knew just how much Kate was his.
Vi Keeland always brings such heart and emotion to her stories. Β She blends those elements perfectly into the storyline, making it damn near impossible to put it down. THROB added an element of fun into the story that made it absolutely perfect.
If you haven’t read a Vi Keeland book before, this would be a great introduction to her. Β The book is fun, very, very hot and the perfect mix of heart and emotion.
Every girl needs three things
- Β A flutter in her belly when she meets him for the first time.
Meet Cooper
My lips brush the top of her hand lightly, my tongue sneaking out to fleetingly touch her skin. Β The brief contact stirs an ache inside me. Β This woman tugs at somethingβmore than arousalβsomething that makes me want to slow down time just to spend a few more minutes standing here.
βDid you justβ¦β she stammers a bit.
βDid I just what?β
She squints at me. Β βYou know.β
βDo I?β
βI felt your tongue on my hand. Β Youβ¦you licked me.β
Iβd been dying to run my tongue along her neck all evening, although I hadnβt really meant to be so crude about it. Β It just sort of β¦happened. Β βI wouldnβt say licked, maybe just a little taste.β
βSo you tasted me?β
My entire body suddenly has interest in this conversation. Β βI suppose I did. Β But it wasnβt nearly enough. Β That brings us back to my invitation for dinner. Β Tomorrow night?β
βI canβt.β
βThe day after then?β
She laughs and shakes her head. Β The sound makes me smile.
βGood night, Cooper.β Β She pulls the driverβs side door shut and leaves me standing thereβ¦for a full five minutes after sheβs gone.
Vi Keeland is a native New Yorker with three children that occupy most of her free time, which she complains about often, but wouldn’t change for the world. She is a bookworm and has been known to read her kindle at stop lights, while styling her hair, cleaning, walking, during sporting events, and frequently while pretending to work. Β She is a boring attorney by day, and an exciting smut author by night!
