Bleu MacAllisterβs fate lies in the hands of the enemy. Complicated circumstances have rendered her helpless to escape their clutches so she must await rescue by her less than lily-white knight. All is right again when sheβs back in the arms of the man she loves until long buried secrets are unearthed. With them, Bleu finally discovers her motherβs killer along with far more than she could possibly imagine. Can she find happiness with a husband who will go to any length to keep her safe, even if it means denying her of the one thing she believes she wants most in this world?
Shannon’s Thoughts
ONE LAST SIN, the final book in the Sin Trilogy, ties everything up in a series that I’ve thoroughly enjoy!
Georgia Cates gives us a satisfying ending to Bleu and Sin’s story. Β They get their HEA, but holy hell do they have to go through a lot to get there. Β But through all of it, you never have to doubt just how much these two love each other. Β It’s there with every action and every word they say. Β There are times when they drive the other mad with their determination to protect each other, no matter what, but they easily forgive.
The storyline with Abrams get tied up, giving all of us who can’t stand that man a bit of satisfaction knowing he finally gets his. Β You feel bad for Jamie, but it’s nice to see that he doesn’t let what his father did affect his relationship with Sin.
Leith and Sin work out their differences…kind of. Β We get the scoop on why Leith holds such animosity towards his best mate. Β It’s sad and makes you want to smack everyone involved, but it helps readers understand Leith a bit better.
Then there’s Bleu’s sister. Β She makes a surprise visit to Scotland and Bleu is suddenly faced with what she should tell her about her life. Β In the end, it all worked out but it left me wonder if Bleu would have ever been truthful if things weren’t forced on her.
The only thing missing from this last book was tying up the storyline with Leith and Lorna. Β There is so much there and their storyline was kind of left hanging, which gives me hope Georgia Cates might be giving us a spin-off story or two for Leith, Lorna and Jamie.
If you haven’t read the Sin Trilogy, it’s definitely one you should pick up. Β Sin isn’t your typical “mob” boss and he makes it hard not to fall for him and his band of best mates.
One Last Sin Excerpt One: Bleuβs POV
I watch the number above the elevator doors increase as the lift rises to our floor. Twelve. Thirteen. Fourteen. Three more to go. Itβs too many when your husband pins your body against him while his hand roams downward to rub between your legs.
Heβs fervent to say the least.
Warm breath moves over my ear. A tingle races down my spine and goosebumps erupt over my skin. Iβm sure thereβs a camera on us right now. All elevators have them. βWeβre probably giving a thrill to whoever is watching the security footage.β
βDonβt give a fuck. The thrill Iβm feeling is much more important to me right now.β
The doors open and we sprint toward our room. Sin is so anxious his first three attempts at unlocking the door are unsuccessful. βSon of a bitch. The keycard isnβt working.β
I hold out my hand and he places the card in my palm. I slide it in and pull it slower. Click. βOpen sesame.β
βFuck. That was sexy.β
All I did was open a door. βI put the keycard in the hole and pulled it out.β
βI know,β he growls while pulling me through the door toward the bed.
We shed our coats and go to work on all fabric barriers preventing our bodies from being bare against one another. He undresses himself while I do the same, his eyes never leaving my body. βShite. I may come before you get naked.β
My eyes immediately drop to the crotch of his boxer briefs. He has a huge erection tenting his underwear with a wet spot covering the tip. βDonβt you dare.β
I undress faster. More than one stitch pops as I pull my dress over my head. Articles of clothing drop randomly to the floor with no regard for wrinkling.
