four-stars

It’s hard to maintain a demanding career and thirty-three-year-old marketing director Juliet Cross’s only reprieve are her ‘special breaks’. Julie spends a few minutes of her lunch break locked in the company bathroom with her toys, while she fantasizes about the buffed, young and blond floor janitor Terry. Fantasies are good, but reality is even better when Terry catches Julie in the act. Sparks fly and all of Julie’s walls and inhibitions come down. Julie is suddenly caught in a downward spiral of passion and she’s terrified that mindless lust could evolve to something else more complicated. Something Julie might not be ready for.

Victoria’s Thoughts

Juliet Cross  is a marketing director who has to work late on a project due the next day.  After she is sure that everyone has left the building, she embarks on some playtime alone in the woman’s bathroom.  She is caught by the one man she is dreaming about, Terry.  Terry is the janitor and is attracted to Juliet.  The connection between the two is blistering.    The sex scenes were scorching.

I found this book has a unique plot. At 24 pages, this book had a well-defined beginning, middle and ending.  The main characters were interesting.  The ending was predictable but considering the length of the story it was not unexpected.  Overall, this was a very captivating book and I hope to see these characters again in the future.
