Garrick Jefferson Custis is a respected Dom at Tempest, a BDSM club. Garrick wants a permanent submissive as well as a relationship outside the lifestyle. He seems to think he needs to look for someone outside the lifestyle and give up being a Dom.

Quintana Landry is looking for a Dom after a messy divorce. She wants to try to find out what she is missing from life and sex. She is also looking for fun.

The connection between Garrick and Quin is intense. They connect in a way that neither seemed to expect. While it takes Garrick a bit to understand who is has been looking for is right in front of him, it does not take Quin that long. The sex scenes were scorching.

I found this book well written. The main characters and the secondary characters were interesting. At 98 pages, this book had a well formed beginning, middle, and ending. Overall, this was a very captivating book and I hope to see these characters again in the future.
