A wolverine with a painful past collides with an elf who glows like the full moon. Her rage meets his calm.
Sera has been trying to make ends meet since her family kicked her out. After years away from home in a fey menagerie, she had dreamed of being normal again. It wasn’t possible, and she lived a subsistence life until a strange woman named Pansy arrived in her field.
Sheri’s Thoughts
If anyone has a reason to hate fey it’s Sera. After all she was kept for years in a fey menagerie by a sadistic female fey as a pet, who changed the very chemistry of Sera, so she is no longer accepted by her family.
Artur is the perfect hero for her, and I adored him from the start. I also love that Sera finally found true acceptance and was even able to find closure.
The story is short, but Ms. Masters packs a lot of story into a small amount of time and makes it count. Sera and Artur are some of my favorites in this series, and while you would think book twenty five would be a stale, somehow this one was a bit of a breath of fresh air into a series that seems to always manage to be unique yet familiar enough for comfort.
I do recommend this series, it’s a great one that you can easily devour several books a day, and Snarling at the Moon is a new favorite.
