Iris’ Thoughts
Two novellas, one great book.
When best friends KK and Andi go on a cruise together anything can happen. When said cruise has a BDSM theme to capitalize on a certain ultra popular best-selling book, sexy mayhem and hijinks ensue. When Andi gets injured in a stray flogging accident onboard and requires medical attention, the last thing she expected to see was that the shipβs doctor was none other than her high school sweetheart and love of her life. Can they put their past behind then enough to enjoy a casual fling while on the cruise? Or will the βwhat ifsβ destroy their chances at a second chance at love forever?
I loved Andi. Who doesnβt ever think of their first love and wonder what if? This was a very sweet story about taking a second chance at true love that is definitely worth the read.
Recently broken up and upset KK decides on a new course of action for her life. No longer will she be seen as the party time girlβ¦ the girl you call for a guaranteed good time. She is swearing off men. Unfortunately, a hot serviceman makes her regret her decision less than 24 hours later. A cancelled flight and a great guy on his way to be deployed to Afghanistan are possibly too much a temptation for her to pass up. Thatβs all right though; she can always start on her new No Men course after this one night, right? Besides, who cares that heβs a much younger man. Age is just a number for this one night and sheβll never see him again.
Rightβ¦ fortunately for her, things donβt always work out the way we expect them to, and a beautiful relationship develops between a heartbroken woman looking for love and a young military man overseas serving our country. Through letters and emails these two unlikely people get to know each other as only people on borrowed time can. And build something beautifulβ¦ if only KK can let go of her fears and let it happen.
Normally I can come up with a list of complaints about things that have gone horribly wrong in anthologies or bundles. That is not the case here. After reading the first story, I could not see how Silver could possibly outdo herself. Halfway through the second I knew. Iβve been called a hard cookie (technically the phrased used was not so polite) but apparently I had just not read the right story yet. Far from erotic, I found this bundle, and most specifically the second story, to be sweet and very emotional. Two for Love is the perfect book for those looking for more emotion and less smut in their reading. I greatly enjoyed reading it and I know you will too.
