Owner at Cocktails and Books
I am a lover of alpha males with dirty mouths, strong heroines putting alpha males in their place, and the Chicago Blackhawks. I'm a proud hockey mom who can often be found at the hockey rink cheering on my favorite forward, with my kindle close by.

Love Jay Crownover & her Marked Men series. Just because you look different doesn’t mean you don’t deserve love & respect.
Larissa Ione, she wrote Wraith, my book boyfriend. Enough said ;).
How on God’s green Earth am I supposed to pick ONE favorite author? For humor – Kristen Higgins and Jill Shalvis. Sport theme – Toni Aleo. Then there’s Rosalind James, she crosses several categories. Fantasy – Dianne Duvall. and there are others…..
I don’t really have a favorite author because I like to read different genre of books. I like to try out new authors.
Christina Lauren because all of their books are entertaining and funny with wonderful characters and some rather steamy scenes. Plus, they can write up some amazing guys!
Happy Anniversary Shannon!
I have bunches of favorites…..Ilona Andrews, Patricia Briggs, Michelle Sagara, Darynda Jones and J.D. Robb….because they write funny, snarky, kick-a$$ heroines!
This is such a difficult question and can change with every new book I read, but:
My favorite contemporary authors are Jill Shalvis and Kristan Higgins. Their stories always make me laugh.
Favorite historical authors are Eloisa James and Sarah MacLean. Their stories are clever, unique and just draw me in.
Jane Austen for pride and prejudice
OMG! I can’t just pick one! Lisa Kessler, Terry Spear, Donna Grant, Katie Reus, Dana Marton – AND more! I should mention that Kathleen Woodiwiss is the author who planted the seed that grew into my love of romantic novels. Thanks for the giveaway!
Many, but I would say Carolyn Brown is a sure thing every time.
I like James Patterson because his books keep me interested and entertained.
e.l. james. fifty shades of grey series are all great books
love a lot of authors, but Nora Roberts is probably top of my list – from her early romances, to her romantic suspense, and her JD Robb series
I have so many faves but Colleen Hoover is at the top of the list. She just writes books that I cannot put down and she is one of the original authors that I started reading that drew me into this genre of books. Can’t get enough of her.
I’m rather fickle and don’t have just one.
Tarryn Fisher because her books are brilliant!
I love Jay Crownover because she has all these amazing characters, with their own quirks, and writes awesome story lines.
