Casey Markham is a man-eater in a rut. Swearing off relationships may keep her heart safe, but she's beginning to question if her casual flings will ever leave her satisfied. She's wondering if it's finally time to let go of the past and stop letting history control her future.

Bad boy biker, Tenn Jennings can't get Casey off his mind. A chance encounter with the beautiful blond has left its mark, and now he's determined to prove her wrong about everything she thought she knew about men.

It’s safe to say… Casey Markham has met her match.

SHAKEN NOT STIRRED is the fifth book in the Last Call series.   It is a stand-alone, but all the characters in this series are interconnected. This book features Casey Markham.  She doesn’t believe in long term relationships, until she meets Tenn. Casey knows she is in trouble from the moment she meets him, when he rides into town on his Harley.

Tenn is a good looking guy with lots of tattoos.  He is open and honest and he doesn’t play games with Casey.   Tenn is unpretentious and a total alpha male and yet, he has a caring and sensitive side.  He knows Casey needs more time before she can open up and trust him and he is willing to give her the time she needs. There are so many qualities I admire about Tenn, but I think what I like most about him, is what a wonderful father he is to his teenage daughter.

Casey is just drifting along until she meets Tenn. She has always played games with guys and never allowed herself to become emotionally attached.  Tenn forces her to reflect on her behavior and think about what she wants.  Tenn is the first person she feels comfortable with and is able to open up and share her feelings with him. He is exactly what Casey needs in her life, although she fights the attraction.

Sawyer Bennett writes an interesting story with complex, yet easy to connect with characters. I especially enjoy the camaraderie between Casey and her friends.  Tenn is a sexy dirty talker and when he and Casey get together, things get steamy.
