CnB Reviewer Elizabeth has provided our Top Shelf Favorite Author today.  She’s sharing what she loved about Rosalind James.  Enjoy!

How did you discover Rosalind James?

I came across a free copy of Just This Once back in 2013 and was hooked.

What is it about this author and their books that have your coming back for more?

Rosalind’s characters seem like people that you could actually meet and the scenarios that they are in seem realistic as well. Her female characters are almost always strong personalities.

What’s your favorite book of Rosalind James’?  Why?

This is usually the Escape to New Zealand book I read most recently! They are all great books and even though they share a theme (hot rugby players) and are interconnected, all the books stand on their own and tell very unique stories.

CnB About the Author

Rosalind James, a publishing industry veteran and former marketing executive, is an author of Contemporary Romance and Romantic Suspense novels published both independently and through Montlake Romance. She started writing down one of the stories in her head on a whim three years ago while living in Auckland, New Zealand, Within six weeks, she had finished the book, thrown a lifetime of caution to the winds, and quit her day job. She and her husband live in Berkeley, California with a Labrador Retriever named Charlie (yes, she named a character after her dog, but she swears she didn’t realize it until later). Rosalind attributes her surprising success to the fact that “lots of people would like to escape to New Zealand! I know I did!”
