The thrilling conclusion to the Billionaires and Bikers series!
One tiny mistake turns Bee Carter's worst fears into a terrifying reality. She knows she isn't alone. The sexy, honorable man she adores stands by her side, willing to sacrifice his freedom to ease her concerns.
But she yearns for more than he is offering. She wants a partner who will love her as fiercely as she loves him, who will say the words and mean them, and someone who will choose her because this is what he desires more than anything else, not merely out of a misguided sense of duty.
Will saying no to the man she loves earn Bee unbearable heartache or will she finally get the forever she craves?
Cynthia Sax ties up the story of Hawke, Nicolas and Bee in this final installment in the SINFUL REWARDS series. ย Throughout the series, we were often left to wonder which man Bee was going to choose. ย If she would go for love or would it be money. ย But in the end, Bee ended up getting everything she wanted in the one man she didn’t think could give it to her.
I’ve loved Hawke from the beginning and he’s who I wanted Bee with. ย Even when she was unwilling to open her eyes to fully see what was in front of her, I knew Hawke was going to be the one to show her she could be the dirty, naughty girl she liked to be in private with the woman who was loyal and protective of those she held dear. ย It took her a while, but by #10 in the series, she’d finally seen it. ย And by 12, she finally understood that even though Hawke may not say the three little words so was longing to hear, he showed her just how much he loved her in other ways.
I’ve enjoyed this novella series. ย Even though Bee, at times, got on my nerves, I was invested in the series and needed to know if Bee was going to get that HEA she was so desperately grabbing for. ย It took a bit of work and a lot of self reflection for Bee to realize that the grass isn’t always greener, but she did end up finding exactly what she wanted and needed.
My former marine passes our untidy bed, dips one of his hands in the plastic fishbowl filled with condoms, and heads toward the window.
The curtain-less window.
โItโs daylight,โ I squeak. All of my previous window sexual antics were performed at night. I couldnโt view my audience, couldnโt see the faces of the men watching me.
โTell me you donโt want this.โ Hawke challenges me.
โI donโt want this.โ I meet his gaze, unable to back down, trusting him to read me as he always does, to know that I do want this.
He chuckles. โYouโre such a terrible liar.โ He skims his lips over mine. โYou crave this. I feel how wet, how hot you are.โ
I wiggle, unable to argue, my pussy moist and my nipples hard. โTheyโll think Iโm a bad girl.โ My ass touches cool glass. Anyone looking up at our condo will see my bare bottom flattened against the window.
โTheyโll think youโre a very good girl.โ Hawke lowers my feet to the floor, sliding my body over his. โYouโre obeying your very bad man.โ He extends my arms, pressing my hands against the window, and widens my stance, forming an X with my body. โYouโre so damn beautiful, sweetheart.โ
He steps backward, his gaze sweeping me from my head to my toes, all of me exposed to him, my small breasts, flat stomach, brown private curls, pale legs. I glow, feeling beautiful, wanted, worthy.
โYou remain overdressed, Marine.โ My voice is husky with need.
โYes, maโam.โ Hawke pulls his T-shirt over his head, drops it on the floor. I glance down at it, unable to suppress my frown.
โPassion is messy.โ He laughs, the muscles in his chest moving with his joy. The wings tattooed over his collarbone flutter, the finely etched feathers tempting me to touch them, lick them.
I donโt dare move. My palms flatten against the glass. Hawke has posed me, silently requesting I remain still, and I will obey my dominant man. I tilt my chin upward. Iโm powerful, worthy of his love, his forever. Heโs shown me this.
โYour thighs are moist.โ Hawkeโs smile holds a primitive smugness. โEveryone watching you sees how eager you are for my big cock.โ
I quiver. He knows the words I want to hear.
โIโll give you what you want, soon.โ He drifts his hands over my shoulders and along my sides, his calloused fingertips grazing the curve of my breasts. โBut not yet.โ
I bite on the inside of my cheek, suppressing my moans as he explores the dip at my navel, the sensitive skin over my ribs, learning every inch of me. My nipples ache for his touch yet he ignores them, lavishing his attention on less wanton regions, discovering erogenous zones I didnโt know I had.
Unable to reciprocate, to move, Iโm focused on him, on his fingers, his hot breath wafting against my breasts, every caress amplified. Hawkeโs slow seduction drives me mad, absolutely crazy. I canโt wait, canโt be as patient as he is. My body demands release.
โHawke.โ I arch my back, offering myself to him, wishing to speed, to guide his efforts. โI needโโ
โI know what you need, love.โ He leisurely circles my breasts, his sensuous orbits narrowing, narrowing, narrowing until I shake with desire, my bare skin vibrating against the window.
โI know you.โ
