Belleβs story begins in the captivating fourth installment of the New York Times bestselling series.
I made myself a promise: No men. No romance. No waiting around for a prince thatβs not going to come. Because some girls donβt get happily ever afters. Some girls only get broken hearts.
Which is exactly why I should stay away from him. Heβs vile. Heβs arrogant. Heβs controlling. And I donβt trust him.
But some men get into your bloodβunder your skin. Some men you just canβt get enough of.
Some men you just crave.
This a full-length novel. It's recommended you read the previous books, but not necessary to enjoy the story.
Oh Geneva Lee, how you weave an erotic tale. I am a HUGE fan of the Royal Saga series and I was extremely excited to see what kind of tale the author would create for Belle. Β I wasn’t sure what kind of man I wanted for Belle, but I wasn’t expecting Price or what lay ahead for Belle.
After having discovered her fiance in flagrante delicto, Belle finds herself in unfamiliar territory. Β With no money and a mountain of family debt being heaped on her by her mother, she finds herself out looking for a job. Β Any job. Β It’s on a job interview that Belle meets Smith Price and finds herself in a very complicated situation.
Smith, Smith, Smith. Β He is an extremely complicated man. Β At first, I saw him as a ruthless bastard who was just going to use Belle for her connection to the royal family. Β But very quickly, we learn there is so much more to this man. Β He’s haunted, very much like Alexander was, and because of that he fights his attraction to Belle. Β But the fight doesn’t last long and he caves, proving he’s just as dominating and dirty as my favorite King. Β He wants to give Belle the world, making sure she knows she’s his, until the part of his life that rules him suddenly become a danger to her.
Sex plays a big role in this series and that’s evident in CRAVE ME. Β It’s through sex that Belle and Simon are able to honestly communicate with each other. Β It’s very hot, very demanding and very erotic. Β Its in those scene where the masks come off and we see the damaged side of both these characters as they try not to fall in love with each other. Β It almost seem inevitable, as they couldn’t resist each other from the very beginning.
There are some interesting things that look to come for Simon and Belle. Β People are not who they seem and that very mysterious jeweler from CROWN ME plays a big role in Smith’s life. Β I can’t wait to see how things unravel and what kind of impact the people in Simon’s life is going to have on Belle, Clara and Alexander.
