Review: Dreaming of a Wolf by Sofia Grey

Anyone who has lost a loved one has gone through the stages of grief. Denial, anger, acceptance, those are just a couple of the stages Olivia experiences. When this short opens, Olivia is trying to accept that the love of her life is gone. Everyone around her is grieving and all she wants is for someone to tell her it’s all a bad dream. With everyone trying to move on, how can she get them to believe that to her Alun is still alive. He visits her every night in her dreams. They’ll think the grief has caused her to lose it. How can she move on when deep down she knows Alun’s still with her.

Grey takes us on an emotional roller coaster that may take a bit to recover from. Olivia and Alun’s story reaches in to your heart and squeezes tight. Although short in length, you will be so emotionally invested in Olivia and thus Alun, even though we only see bits of him through Olivia’s dreams, that you won’t be able to put this down. Definitely recommended for anyone looking for a quick, emotional read that will make you feel.
