New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Lauren Dane delivers Book #1 in her Ink & Chrome erotic romance series. The men of the Twisted Steel custom motorcycle shop are great with their hands... and they're not afraid to get dirty.PJ is exactly the kind of woman Twisted Steel owner Asa Barrons doesn't need. The last thing he wants to do is mix business with pleasure, and PJ has some of the best custom detailing he's ever seen. But the chemistry between them won't be denied, and soon he's introducing her to a whole new world in the bedroom, pushing her far beyond anything she's ever experienced. PJ finds she can't get enough, but how far is too far before he consumes her completely?
This is a sexy story with engaging characters and a captivating storyline. The story features Asa and PJ, who share a passion for cars and each other. Asa loves cars and motorcycles and owns Twisted Steel, a successful custom motorcycle business. When Asa and PJ first meet there is smoking chemistry, but Asa is twelve years older than PJ and concerned about the age difference between them. AJ doesn’t let anything get in her way when she wants something and she wants Asa. She is persistent and lets him know the age difference doesn’t matter. Asa has a pierced nose and looks big, tough and scary, but he has a tender heart. He likes to be in control in the bedroom, which is something new for AJ, but she likes how he makes her feel. When these two get together, things really heat up. Asa has many great qualities, but I think what I like the most about him is how he treated AJ and was how protective he is. He will do whatever it takes to keep her from getting hurt.
PJ comes from an affluent, but dysfunctional family and unfortunately, her father continually picks on her. I love PJ, she is a rebel. She has tattoos and piercings and colors her hair different colors. She goes against what her family wants her to do and insists on taking the path that is right for her. She marches to her own drummer and although it hurts her feelings, when her family doesn’t support her, she still does things her way. Asa and PJ have explosive chemistry and this story is told from both POV’s. This is the first book in the Ink and Chrome series and is a stand alone. It’s an intriguing story and I can’t wait for the next one featuring Duke.
