"We met in a nightmare. The in-between world where time had no power over reason. We fell in love. We fell hard. But then we woke up. And it was over . . ."
RUIN & RULE
She is a woman divided. Her past, present, and future are as twisted as the lies she's lived for the past eight years. Desperate to get the truth, she must turn to the one man who may also be her greatest enemy . . .
He is the president of Pure Corruption MC. A heartless biker and retribution-deliverer. He accepts no rules, obeys no one, and lives only to reap revenge on those who wronged him. And now he has stolen her, body and soul.
Can a woman plagued by mystery fall in love with the man who refuses to face the truth? And can a man drenched in darkness forgo his quest for vengeance-and finally find redemption?
RUIN & RULE is a full-length book at 436 pages and ends on a cliffhanger. Cleo and Kill's story continues in SIN & SUFFER.

I loved every minute of this story.Β  There were so many twists and turns it was like riding a roller coaster; it had me hanging onto the edge of my seat and I was unable to put this book down. Β I was never sure what direction this story would take. Β I was trying to figure out who the bad guys were and wondering how it would end.

The story begins with a woman being kidnapped. She has lost her memory and the only thing that seems familiar to her is the man who takes off Β her blindfold.Β  He is Arthur Killian, a.k.a. Kill and president of Pure Corruption, a motorcycle club. The story is told through the woman’s POV, so all the reader knows is what she can remember and she doesn’t recall much. Β She starts to remember things in bits and pieces throughout the story in flashbacks.

This is a dark story and Arthur, the hero isn’t a nice guy, especially in the beginning. Β Of course, Arthur has many layers and as the story continues, we learnΒ  that Arthur is a tormented guy.Β  He has had a series of bad breaks in his life and they have hardened him into the man he is today. Β He doesn’t care what people think and he doesn’t live by any rules, except his own.Β  The only thing that keeps him going is vengeance.Β  He will not let anything get in his way to extract vengeance on the people who ruined his life.

This is an emotional story with an embittered hero and a feisty heroine. The heroine is continually in Arthur’s face, asking him questions and giving him a hard time about everything. Β At times, I couldn’t believe the things she said and if it were me, I would have kept my mouth shut. Β The heroine is courageous and tough and goes after what she wants and she is constantly fighting Arthur, trying to find the truth and her lost memory.Β Β

This book kept me spellbound; it’s an intense, well written story with characters that will tear at your heart.Β Β  The only downside for me was to realize this book ends with a cliffhanger. Β I will be waiting impatiently for Sin and Suffer to find out what happens next.Β
