The New York Times bestselling author of Crazy for the Cowboy ropes another sexy Texan in a novel of untamed, passion-filled romance in the Panhandle.β¦ Expert rider Mac Fosterβs got it bad for Anastasia Bickford, but heβs fighting it. Not only is she a friendβsheβs his bossβs sister, making her the last person he should be lusting after. To make matters worse, sheβs creating a name for herself as an artist, and itβs only a matter of time before the world comes knocking at her door. Though Anastasia has a growing reputation for her vivid drawings of a legendary wild stallion they call the Ghost, sheβs never seen him. A secret fear of horses has forced her to rely only on photos. Since no one knows the Ghost better than Mac, he can help her overcome her fear by teaching her to ride. But in order to get closer to the stallion, sheβll have to get closer to the man.

In Wild About the Wrangler, we go back to Bickford, TX for the second installment of the Sexy Texans series. This installment picks up shortly after the first book left off and follows Anastasia and Mac, both of whom we met in the first book.
This is a pretty classic friends to lovers story as Mac and Anastasia have been dancing around each other for a while. She asks him for help over coming her fear of horses and that brings their mutual attraction to the front and center. The story that follows shows us the challenges they have in deciding to be together and then the tough decisions that had to be made to stay together.
Wild About the Wrangler is a well written and fun book, and itβs a great book to curl up and snuggle with. Anastasia and Mac are both likeable characters that you enjoy being around. One of the things I liked about this book, was that the conflict between the characters wasnβt manufactured, Mac genuinely felt the way he did and his battle with those feelings was a recurring theme.
Having read the first installment of this series, I slipped seamlessly into this story as well, but I do think it would also work as a stand-alone effort. I am looking forward to seeing what happens next for the folks of Bickford.
