One girlβs heart gets rocked to the core in the first novel in this sexy New Adult series.
Twenty-one-year-old front girl Emmylou knows that getting her band noticed in the β90s indie rock scene will be no easy task. She definitely knows better than to break the number one rule of the band: Don't sleep with your bandmates! But after she ends up having the best sex of her life with her guitarist, Travis, she finds following that rule is a lot harder than it sounds.
When the band gets the gig of their dreams, making it big seems just within reach. But Emmyβs inability to keep her hands off Travis threatens everything theyβve worked for. Can Emmy find a way to break the rules and not blow the chance of a lifetime?

Don’t have sex with anyone in the band that’s the rule. It was one if her rules and they broke it. One night of great sex and Emmylou and Travis broke it.Β Emmylou and Travis are band mates and friends. Emmylou or as her friendsΒ call her Emmy, is serious about her music and her friendships.Β She never wants to lose friends or break up the band. She has seen it happen numerous times before. However that does not stop her and Travis. The fallout from that one night threatens everything they have worked on for years.
Travis wants more than a hookup or friends with benefits thing from Emmy. He wants a relationship.Β “Loud is how I love you” Travis tells Emmy once.Β Emmy is so afraid of taking a chance on Travis and ruining her band. She doesn’t believe they can have both and music is her life. Emmy has abandonment issues which doesn’t help the situation. Travis is constantly being pulled in different directions because Emmy is so conflicted. Loud is how I love you, Loud is how I know you are there, Loud so I don’t lose you, Because I’d know the sound of you anywhere.
This book captures all that love and relationships go through the ups and downs, good times, conflicts, and the hope for all that can be if risks are taken. I am excited to see what happens next in the series. Mercy Brown you have done an amazing job.
