Review: Fly With Me by Chanel Cleeton

Honestly Time – I hadn’t read anything with an active duty military hero in a long time, so when I came across the chance to read this one, I couldn’t resist. Add in the fact that it was a chance to try a new to me author AND the beginning of a series and I had to check it out. I was so NOT disappointed.

Noah and Jordan are both well written and interesting characters. A case of full blown insta- lust turns into a relationship that is fun to watch. Neither character is perfect, but the fact that they seem to embrace their flaws had me rooting for them that much more.

Fly with Me has some fun moments full of humor, Top Gun/Tom Cruise references, sweet moments, and really hot sexy time. But, it also paints a realistic picture of what long distance relationships look like and gives us a glimpse of the trials and tribulations that come with being a military spouse.

There were times when I wanted to tell Jordon to lighten up and stop being a drama queen, but she pulled herself out it all on her own. The supporting cast of characters is interesting and some of the sub plots have me very curious about where this series will be going in the future. This is definitely a book I can recommend, especially if you are looking for a fun and sexy military hero.
