Two men, One woman, one very large and empty boutique hotel. The possibilities are endless. Especially when the sparks fly, not just between Lily and the men, but between the two men as well. The last thing she expected when she decided to bring Angus out to her best friend’s winery was for there to be an attraction brewing between the two men. Sure, she was attracted to Angus and was irreversibly in love with her best friend, Blake, but she never once imagined that the two men would be attracted to each other. So what’s a girl to do but thoroughly enjoy herself.
At under 100 pages, this short but steamy read goes in to great detail on the chemistry between the characters and emotional entanglements that go along with a menage relationship. I was pleasantly surprised at how in-depth the author went into the characters and the unexpected emotions they were all feeling once they admitted their attraction for each other and the possibility of a triad relationship. Summer Wine was a well written and sexy novella. There was no drama to speak of. They characters were mature adults who discussed their situation as such and resolved to make it work no matter the sacrifices. It was refreshing to find such a thing in the sea of books filled with drama for the sake of added drama.
If you’re looking for a quick, steamy read and don’t have a whole lot of time available, this is one you should definitely try. You won’t be sorry.
