The Perfect Hero

I’m so excited to be hanging out at Cocktails and Books (because, to be honest, cocktails and books are two of my most favorite things). For today’s post, I was asked to describe my perfect hero. How. Much. Fun. Are you ready? Here we go…

If I were the heroine of one of my books, I’d love a hero who was:

Wicked hot. Sexy, sexy, sexy. I mean, come on, romance heroes need to be sexy. I’m thinking someone who looks a whole lot like Jensen Ackles. (Any Supernatural fans out there?)
Smart. Smart = sexy so I need a hero who can get things done.
Strong. Because working out is not a crime, and having a six pack in a romance novel? Again…yes, please.
Funny. A sense of humor is a must. Sure, the world can be going to hell all around the characters of a book, but if the hero can laugh at the situation, he’s a winner in my eyes.
True. Heroes need to be completely true and faithful to their heroines. They need to be there in a crisis, there to the end. True blue, baby!

And, well, for a few bonus points, I’d like a hero with:

A deep, dark voice. A Vin Diesel kind of voice. The type of voice that you don’t just hear, you feel it.
A tattoo…or two. Something to make the guy look just a little big dangerous.
A killer smile. A dimple that flashes every now and then, oh, yes, that would work nicely.

So that’s it. My beginning recipe for a hero. What other ingredients would you like to add?
